Lalu, Sharad Pawar, Left, Paswan, Congress, Mulayam/ Amar Singh

All the these days the so called UPA has been shouting of there unity and governance and as the elections approached the true faces of this friendship and unity comes out for us to understand what this so called united alliance stands for. Just to understand what each of these friends mean
Lalu Yadav- One of the shrewdest politicians of the current age- Lalu shamelessly he has been claiming himself to be the saviour of the Indian Railways and making it profitable where the truth is it was all Nitesh Kumar's plan and projects which bore these fruits. If he was so futuristic why did he not do anything for his home state during his 15 years rule as CM of Bihar. How can a man who ruined a state during his rule in Bihar do anything for the welfare of anyone except for him and his family.
Now as the election approaches he has shaked hands with another opportunist Ram Vilas Paswan. Every morning he says he is a part of the UPA and supports Manmohan Singh (MMS) as PM and by evening he will start tearing Congressess apart why? Simple reason he is a opportunist to the core, he does not believe in UPA or MMS or Congress all he knows is how to exploit the situation best for his own betterment.
He has just forged the new alliance to build up pressure on Congress/ UPA post election to get better bargain for himself in case they are in a position to form the govt. At the same time if UPA fails to reach the magical number he wants to be in a position to blackmail or be a king maker or probably bargain for the PM's position with the group whoever proposes to form the govt. He gives a damm to Congress or UPA he is only laying a ground to blackmail for himself.

Sharad Pawar- When lakhs of our farmers were committing scucide our agriculture minister was busy managing cricket matches and was least bothered of his national responsibilities. Why? BCCI the richest sports body in India he can have his booty of all the illgotten, unaccounted money of BCCI. It is a well known fact amount of blackmoney he stocks.
There was a time when Pawar revolted from Congress on Sonia's foreign origin issue and launched his own party but than how long can a opportunist stay out of the centre of the power so he was back and now the same Sonia becomes the guiding force. Now once again same as his peer he is undecided what to do as like everyone else he also know the possibilities of UPA comming back to power is minimal this opportunist is just keeping all his options open and sharing stage everyone in the field and keeping the Congress/ UPA guessing His aspirations to become PM are open to all he is just preparing enough ground for this and as Lalu he gives a damm to Congress or UPA he only knows his personal ambitions and how to stock more black money. He never stood by people of his region. When the farmers needed policies and action to solve the finincial crises he was never there but

Politics of Secularism

Are we a Secularist? Must think over these points

There are nearly 52 Muslim countries. Show one Muslim country which provides Haj subsidy.
Show one Muslim country where Hindus are extended the special rights that Muslims are accorded in India?

Show one country where the 85% majority craves for the indulgence of the 15% minority.
Show one Muslim country, which has a Non-Muslim as its President or Prime Minister.
Show one Mullah or Maulvi who has declared a 'fatwa' against terrorists.
Hindu-majority Maharashtra, Bihar, Kerala, Pondicherry , etc. have in the past elected Muslims as CM’s, …..
Can you ever imagine a Hindu becoming the CM of Muslim - majority J&K?
In 1947, when India was partitioned, the Hindu population in Pakistan was about 24% ….Today it is not even 1%. In 1947, the Hindu population in East Pakistan (now Bangladesh) was 30% …. Today it is about 7%. What happened to the missing Hindus?
Do Hindus have human rights?
In contrast, in India, Muslim population has gone up from 10.4% in 1951 to about 14% today; …whereas Hindu population has come down from 87.2% in 1951 to 85% in 1991. Do you still think that Hindus are fundamentalists?

In India today Hindus are 85%. If Hindus are intolerant, how come Masjids and madrasas are thriving?
How come Muslims are offering Namaz on the road? How come Muslims are proclaiming 5 times a day on loud speakers that there is no God except Allah?
When Hindus gave to Muslims 30% of Bharat for a song, why should Hindus now beg for their sacred places at Ayodhya, Mathura And Kashi?
Why Gandhiji objected to the decision of the cabinet and insisted that Somnath Temple should be reconstructed out of public fund, not government funds. When in January 1948 he pressurized Nehru and Patel to carry on renovation of the Mosques of Delhi at government expenses?
Why Gandhi supported Khilafat Movement (nothing to do with our freedom movement) and what in turn he got?

If Muslims & Christians are minorities in Maharashtra, UP, Bihar etc., are Hindus not minorities in J&K, Mizoram, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya etc? Why Hindus are denied minority rights in these states?
When Haj pilgrims are given subsidy, why Hindu pilgrims to Amarnath, Sabarimalai & Kailash Mansarovar are taxed?

When Christian and Muslim schools can teach Bible and Quran, …. Why Hindus cannot teach Gita or Ramayan in our schools?

Do you admit that Hindus do have problems that need to be recognized? Or do you think that those who call themselves Hindus are themselves the problem?

Why post - Godhra is blown out of proportion, when no-one talks of the ethnic cleansing of 4 lakh Hindus from Kashmir?
Do you consider that - Sanskrit is communal and Urdu is secular, Mandir is Communal and Masjid is Secular, Sadhu is Communal and Imam is secular, BJP is communal and Muslim league is Secular, Dr.Praveen Bhai Togadia is ANTI-NATIONAL and Bhukari is Secular, Vande Matharam is communal and Allah-O-Akbar is secular, Shriman is communal and Mian is secular, Hinduism is Communal and Islam is Secular, Hindutva is communal and Jihadism is secular, and at last, Bharat is communal and Italy is Secular?
Why Temple funds are spent for the welfare of Muslims and Christians, when they are free to spend their money in any way they like?
When uniform is made compulsory for school children, why there is no Uniform Civil Code for citizens? In what way, J&K is different from Maharashtra, TamilNadu or UttarPradesh, to have Article 370?

Abdul Rehman Antuley was made a trustee of the famous Siddhi Vinayak Temple in Prabhadevi, Mumbai ….Can a Hindu - say Mulayam or Laloo – ever become a trustee of a Masjid or Madrasa?
Dr. Praveen bhai Togadia has been arrested many times on flimsy grounds, has the Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid, Delhi, Ahmed Bhukari been arrested for claiming to be an ISI agent and advocating partition of Bharat?
Can this happen anywhere, except in a HINDU NATION - BHARAT?
JAI HIND !!!

Con-gress antonmy of Pro- gress

If con is antonym of Pro… Is con-gress not an antonym of Pro-gress…?

Education, Infrastructure and communication network are few things which can be termed as the base of development of any nation. Of these infrastructure is a set of subsets like- road network (connectivity of major cities with the tier II cities, and villages to district headquarters), transportation, water transportation, port, housing facilities etc to name few.

To talk about only one of the above mentioned bases of development- Infrastructure-

In our 50+ years of Congress governance in India what has been the achievement and where do we stand in infrastructure development. For 50 years we had 2 lane highways/ GT road across the country with the limited connectivity to the villages tier II cities. Then came the NDA government- a government with the willingness to do something and to improve the infrastructure condition of the country- They launched the biggest development project in the history of independent India – The Golden Quadrilateral (GQ) project (and this was not named on someone from the “..” family as they do as part of brand building excercise )which even today is considered as one of India’s showpieces.

The first phase of the Rs.54, 000 crore National Highway Development Project was the world’s biggest infrastructure project when launched, with a aim to link East, west, North and South extreme corners of the country and the metros with eight-lane world class expressway that (not to forget the huge employment opportunity it created even for the people in the rural areas). To support this were the same quality links and bypasses that were to be created by upgrading existing highways.

This was the time when I was in a job which required a lot of traveling and used to see the work to build these express highways. It gave a proud feeling and I use to think what motoring would be once these roads are done. And then I was in Noida experiencing the Delhi Noida super express highway. It was dream drive from Delhi to Noida on this super express highway ‘a breeze’ I must say (considering the road conditions in the other part of the country which was under construction) driving at a speed of 100 KMPH and reducing the travel time by half.

And now years later when I travel, the scene on the ground is different. The activities are more sluggish I can barely see progress at sites where a bridge is being built or the road is being widened even after traveling these roads after year’s gap.

The story on govt. paper though is good. According to the Economic Survey of ’07-’08, 7,962 Kms of NH with the bulk of 5,629 Km lying on the GQ was completed till Nov.’07. About 7,744 Km NH are under construction. Nearly 96% works on GQ have been completed by Nov’07. The up gradation of 12,109 Km has been approved by the govt. under NHDP Phase-III at an estimated cost of Rs.80,626 crore.

On ground though things just opposite, delays and problems are dogging projects which are taking ages to kick off. Work has been slowed down or stalled at many points due to problems in law and order, issue with contractors or simply trouble over acquisition of land and removal of structures/ encroachments, and hardly anything has been done to solve the issues and whatever work is underway, is on the land acquired and cleaned by the NDA govt. of which the current govt. is trying to take the credit of.

To make things even worst the surface transport ministry under whom the NHAI works has replaced three Chairmen in the last four years.

On the ports front also there hardly has been any progress in the last five years. Though the overall port traffic has increased the most of this has gone to the private ports forcing the govt. to decrease the traffic targets of these ports. The poor management, crowding and longer turnaround time have left the trade literally high and dry.And then there is the much hyped the Setusamudaram project… launched as a showpiece project of UPA. Spoken to add winds to the shipping and exports from Tamilnadu but the sails have literally got grounded in political controversy and the govt. has not even been able to prove/ justify the financial viability of the project and that is a reason the project finds no mention in manifestos or achievement as the people behind this themselves are in a state of dilemma.

This is just one of a example of what the Congress lead UPA govt. is been doing. UPA- A bunch of anti development, opportunist’s parties. One can go in lengths talking over the anti development policies of the UPA.

Should India be voting for this anti development group again- the answer to the question lies with us an obvious NO AN ABSOULETE NO.

So…..

If con is antonym of Pro… Is con-gress not an antonym of Pro-gress…?
